Who else sees a particular time on the clock and then think of a racer who has that number? I see 6:26 and I think of Tuna or 9:11 - Mike Smith. Or, when the power goes out and the clock sits there and blinks at me it's Metalhead. :D:D:D Sorry Richie, I couldn't resist.

  2. RRP

    RRP Kinda Superbikey

    For me it’s displacement, 8:51, 7:48, 6:49...

Ironically usually a twin, go figure.:D

EDIT - JP is this a “great” or “twisted” minds think alike?

Probably just the racing disease disorder. There is no known cure.

    I’ll do you one better.

Picked up a dial combo safe. I remember the combo by the riders who sport those numbers.

No, I won’t tell you who the riders are. :moon:

I always see athletes numbers in things. Hockey, baseball, racing etc. Played in a golf scramble a while back and we got cart 46 :). We finished fourth.....lol. The guy I was playing with had no idea who Valentino Rossi was though.

Personally, I rise each hour of the day and night to observe the emergence of 46 minutes past the hour :)

The motocross kids from when Kris was young would cut up and have a “ moment of silence” when they realized the time matched someone’s number... 304, 707, 722, 903 was a thing with them for a while.

I have had brain farts a couple of times and forgot the alarm code for my shop, for the last year there has been a reminder of two racers first names written under the cover.

I remember the first time I came back from Roebling and noticed the 177 mile marker on I-95 in SC.

There's an exit on Rt.84 in NY...
    Exit #17 coincidently called Ludingtonville.
Some older AMA fans will see the connection there.
