The 1000F has the three spoke Hurricane wheel. That wheel is an F3. The 900 has an aluminum frame. UNLESS someone put an F3/VFR front wheel/front end on the 1000F Hurricane. But then again, that five spoke wheel and floating rotor configuration is 1995 and on.
Could have been stolen in 92, ridden for a couple of years, and had the front forks upgraded to f3..... Or the year "92" is wrong. But yeah, it's an F3 not F2. That front rim is still worth $200Cdn
Looks like it came out of a port-o-john at a maryland lacrosse tournament. Except for the lack of the blue fluid.
Yeah that must have gone in the river later if the 1992 "acquired on" date is right. Def an F3 front end. I think it's F2 from the steering head back.
Regardless on if it's an F2 or F3, it's obvious that whoever chucked it in the water didn't want to deal with that diabolical Honda bodywork, either.....
Ok........got home from work and ran out to the barn to look at the cbr1000f.........this boat anchors frame does not have that triangulated engine mount on the frame that sits between the upper frame spar and the spar that comes down in front of the engine like on the 1000. The wheel on front also matches the F2 rims I have on all my FZRs on the rear. Im stickin' with F2. If im wrong then hey............it won't be the last time
All lies. That picture is clearly from casa de @stickboy274 Seen it myself, its an f3 and a pile of tires.
