    And those of us who were wise-ass nerds would install a specially created Hollerith card on the program drum which caused problems for everyone else!

    I knew what the cards were, but had to google Hollerith. My first exposure to computers was in '71 in HS. We had a connection to the RTP Mainframe. Our routines were BASIC on ribbons of paper.

    Just wondering? Did everyone else see his post where there is an ethernet port in every room? Problem solved.

    Personally, I only have sons, well I do have a grown daughter I never met, BUT, if they had an ethernet port in their room, I'd kick their ass for not even knowing about it! Well, not in reality, 'cz they both have enough to deal with being on the Autism Spectrum.
