Black truck, black suits bald head... This one with black metal strap is on top of my list https://www.jomashop.com/breitling-watch-y2431012-be10.html
Got dad’s watch back (1803 Day Date). Mark the Watch Doctor in PA did a full overhaul and replaced a defective main spring all for $275! Even touched up the lume from some prior degradation on a few numbers. Super stoked. So it got the overhaul, StrapFreak leather band, StrapFreak case gap links (between the case and the strap) and a custom made gold Rolex buckle. I also picked up some 18k pins from the Rolex forum so that stainless pins don’t wear out the case holes. So not bad for a 62 year old watch!
It's not my deal but that looks great, well done. Any love for the Reverso here, I'm looking at them by can't deduce what a normal model is, so many random variations.
Thats Awesome Chris. For a gold watch (personally ugh..not me) its awesome. Glad you got it fixed and can rock your dads watch.
I'm not a big fan of gold watches in general, but if you don't like a gold president you're a communist.

I love how Jomashop follows up my $52 watch purchase with 100 emails offering me $3000 watch deals... yeah, good luck with that. BTW, this is the one I got and LOVE it https://www.jomashop.com/orient-sport-watch-fune9007b.html?nosto=cartpage-nosto-2
Yeah..hit with those 3k emails so when they send in the ones with 3k watches for 1-1.5K you go...wow thats a deal....i have to buy some they're so cheap...it'd cost me money NOT to buy one...
If they didn't get me to bite on the $250 Nicky Tissot last fall, I'm sure not falling for that. I'm a loooong way from the baller some of you guys are.
i've managed to resist bumping up to the next level (or 2 or 3) for almost 4 years while i learned and obsessed. there will be a purchase in the next year...
You know full well i'm going to change my mind 5 times before i pull the trigger. But... right now it's either the IWC Portuguese or a vintage PiePan Constellation.
