Had to think really fast, and turn my K5 GixxerLiter Bike into a Supermoto...

The really bad major TBI I had was in 1986. Not on any meds, haven't been either. I am a medical professional currently and don't feel I should be on any psych meds either really.
I didn't just wake up from my coma and everything was fine, it was really tough to get to where I am today. I know there are others have that have had a more difficult time than I have though.

Every season there were always some Crits. My favorite races though was the 100+ mile races with at least three mountain passes in them, like around Sonoma, or Bisbee. That was decades ago. I still ride around some on a medium grade All terrain bike with front fork shocks, alum. frame. disc brakes, etc. I often think back on those days as I ride with my family/sons too.

Seems like most everything after "I was in a full tuck", but I'm only on page 6 where we learn the protagonist hopes to cross trackday off his bucket list soon.
