    Hey y'all,

Do you think it’ll be ok to use a front wheel where 1 bolt is missing from 1 side of a rotor? I have 4 bolts on but one of the holes in the rim is fused with a busted bolt. I may bring it to a machinist during the winter to fix it though.

For now do you think its safe?

What class do you race in? I need to know how to avoid racing you, if you’d even consider this to be okay.

No. Wheels are cheap. Life is not.

"safe" you can probably get by but you will likely warp your rotors and uneven brake wear. I wouldn't race with it like that.

Yeah - because no one who owns a Yamaha, Honda, Kaw, BMW, blah blah blah would ever do that...

Hopefully it won't fall off the stand from the uneven weight distribution

    Phl218 .

it's 5/6 safe, so for racing where you look for additional 50% safety (wire, loctite, RTV) you're 4/6 or 2/3 too unsafe.

What do you mean by safe?
No the rotor will not fall off, you might not notice it either.

Is riding with 4 bolts the right thing to do?
    No
