The IndyCar engines have never been known for hi RPMs, I think they currently red line at 11k.

I did read where they're wanting to expand the schedule to 25-28 races. They're thinking about eliminating a couple of the street courses, and are in talks with adding Richmond, Atlanta, Kentucky, and possibly Charlotte. The Richmond and Kentucky races were awesome, usually Saturday night under the lights.

If they run the road course at Charlotte cool otherwise hell no...

It didn't specify road course, I think they meant oval, I know that's a long shot. About 10 of my family members were at that last Charlotte race....not good.

Hell of a good race at Mid-Ohio.

Yea that's becoming a fan favorite race. It's a great atmosphere, and they sell quite a few tickets. Mid Ohio has a lot of corporate deals for this race, anywhere from 20-1000 tickets with a whole range of banquet goodies. I'll bet there's 40 buses from Indy every year.

In the late 90's-early 2000's they were turning like 15-16k with methanol burning 2.6 liter turbo V8s. Those things up close at 230 mph is probably the coolest thing I've ever heard.

Big wreck on the first lap at Pocono, one car in the fence, thankfully no serious injuries.

Robert Wickens did take a few steps this week.

Stands look quite empty and there doesn't seem to be many in the infield.

I like Sato but he really caused all that. Hinch was pretty brutal in his interview but never actually called him out. Looks like rain will decide this race.

Robert Wickens said they should definitely NOT race IndyCars at Pocono.
