Alright...fine...I’ll say it. Jos. A. Bank or Men’s Wearhouse. If it’s tailored right, 97% or more will never know the difference. Don’t go cheap on the shoes....and get shoe trees to keep them nice. And a decent watch, of course.
If you have the Bloomberg App, watch their CEO’s interview from last week. He pretty much said 97% or more of his own customers wouldn’t know the difference between a good suit...
Anarchy!!! Heretic! Blasphemer! If you have to go brown, dress like a clown. Interview with black, they will call you back.
Mens Warehouse Joseph Aboud Made in USA Italian fabric collection. Best suit for the money when fitted properly. Goodyear welted shoes, Allen Edmonds Made in USA will last a lifetime.
I buy clearance Jos Banks stuff because I hate spending money on clothes. You can get 2 year suits for sub 100 if you're patient Sent from my moto x4 using Tapatalk
Nothing beats a true tailored measured suit. I personally use Tom James Co. for all my suits and probably 90% of my shirts. The thing about Tom James is, it's all about your sales guy. Get a good one and it's an awesome experience. Get one of the new guys who is to pushy and you'll hate life. Charles Tyrwhitt for the other basic white and blue shirts. Shoes ..oh dear baby Jesus there are options. Andres Sendra from Spain are amazing but run about $600 a pair. Allen Edmonds are nice but their styles haven't changed in years. Undandy Shoes are cheap but very nice for the price and you can design your own. Mezlan and Donal Pliner are in my shoe collection. For the love of Pete, stay away from MensWarehouse of Joe. Banks....it's very apparent when you're wearing a cheap suit.
Go to a good tailor or mens shop like Brooks Brothers or Nordstroms and get yourself measured. Buy a black suit and two shirts from him. Make sure you get *all* your dimensions. Once you have your dimensions you can get additional shirts custom done. Then go to someplace like Nordstroms Rack, and buy a blue suit and get it tailored locally assuming you have a good tailor/seamstress in your area.
Last couple suits I grabbed were a few CK and RL off the rack from Macy's and took them to my local tailor to have them tuned up for my fit.
Re-reading these, none of us asked your budget. Additionally, your surroundings matter. Come into a room if $300 suits in a $1800 one as the junior guy Anand that's not really a great look. If you're feeling spendy - Brooks Brothers, Tom James, Gucci, Prada, a trip to London for custom etc are all great options. Might be overkill though. Sent from my moto x4 using Tapatalk
Black, blue and grey suit. Off the rack. There are plenty of sizes that allow you to match jacket and pants. Tailored is not really necessary and a bit overdoing it if you’re not director, VP or CEO IMHO HOWEVER: Black shoes only. Brown shoes are for 2nd tier fashion kids
Go to Chicago Go to Michigan Avenue Spend $$$$ Buy tailored shirts Get nice clothes Black dress shoes, don’t skimp here Good leather belt that matches your shoes Nice watch Done
Custom Dainese Suit , Alpinestars Boots ... in Black , cuz they don’t make Fucking brown . Borrow Stick’s Pimp Cane and hat . And a belt , any color because belts are for whipping bitches ....
Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom.com And plus 1 on the shoes, this is money. When women look down, they’re not looking at your package. Hey, my eyes are up here.
