We used honda polish when we delivered bikes at the dealership I worked for. When they stopped selling it [2007?] we switched to plexus. Plexus is amazing, but its pricey.
Plexus is great stuff! There has to be an automotive alternative for the Honda Polish. I saw this stuff it has good reviews
tried the original bike spirits it's not that great. this on the other hand works great, https://www.walmart.com/ip/DuPont-Showroom-Polish-with-Teflon-surface-protector/592690757 it leaves black plastics, flat painted surfaces, clear plastic, and paint better looking than bike spirits.
I prefer Motul wash & wax. I think it works better and I've been known to be very OCD when it comes to my bikes. https://www.ebay.com/p/Motul-E9-Was...P0l6vp1BqexWP3SxSUKG2UfExo-Lj1wBoCdIUQAvD_BwE
I found a can of the Motorcycle Stuff cleaner (their version of the Honda polish) at the house last weekend. Still good after at least 8 years.
I still use the Honda stuff some times even though it's not as good as the original formula. It seems watery and really, it's performance is uninspiring...so it's a lot like their bikes..
i still honda clean my bikes after every outing although i didnt know the formula changed. I will try mongo's suggestion. plexus is fucking windex and costs $1 million fucking dollars. rip offffffffff
I still have two full cans of the original from way back when. One of my Honda dealers were going out of business so I bought a case and a case of glass cleaner.
I've been using this for the last few years: Turtle Was Clean and shine https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-5...ray+and+shine&qid=1562383698&s=gateway&sr=8-6 But I heard this is excellent, mainly for the plastics and your visor too: https://www.ebay.com/itm/392189343738 I always used pledge on my road bikes- bicycles that is when I raced USCF But, I want to try this that someone else posted!: https://www.walmart.com/ip/DuPont-Showroom-Polish-with-Teflon-surface-protector/592690757
But Honda Polish is the original bullshit repellent. We alway out a piece of duct tape on our cans and wrote bullshit repellent. That way anyway in the pits saying how fast they were, or could be, etc etc you just get the can and give a tiny little spray in the air (I say tiny because these were the days when word was out and it was coming off the shelves so we had a stockpile).
^^^ The alternative you gave is the tits and always has been. I use it bikes, cars, helmets, lawnmowers. I’ve used it on bathroom sinks and even tv screens. It flat works.
