40th Birthday

Trying to help my sister in law plan something for my brother for his 40th this year. He doesn't drink, so not looking for the typical party cities. I am thinking something around north Georgia, NC or Tennessee. We all ride dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, have jeeps etc, so an area that offers good off roading and maybe whitewater rafting would be ideal. Looking to rent a cabin for 8-12 people and tow the toys up from Tampa, Fl area.

Edit: his birthday is in December, but we will probably shoot for a late September-October time frame.

 

Nantahala or Ocoee for the rafting/kayaking.

 

Jeeping in Moab. You can also rent jeeps, dirty bikes, mountain bikes and about anything to take off road out there.

Also, since it's Utah, it takes care of his not drinking.

If you do go to windrock it’s preferable to find a guide. It’s rumored that it’s easy to become lost and run out of fuel.
Do a search on advrider, and find a local.
