    You should see what happens in China with guitars on planes. Craziness!
     
  5. All I can say is I’m glad I usually fly business class or have status to board first as instrument people always seem to create chaos :)

  7. I was a keyboard player in a Philly-based fusion band in the late 80s/early 90s. I usually drove there (from DC) because I had the most gear of anyone :( but I had to fly twice because of work schedules. I had ATA cases for my boards. The second time I flew, I found tire tracks across one of the cases. It was cracked. Fortunately the board still worked. Never flew with instruments again.
