I had one and loved it. Would own another one if there was a source for bodywork. 3rd gens are not supported well in aftermarket bodywork at all.

    Lasik is pretty cheap nowadays...
Are you one of those weirdos that think the 851 looks better than the 916?

My first sportbike. It was a '92 model. The stock color was a super dark blue metallic, almost black. I bought the bike wrecked and fixed it up and had it painted red like the '91 model. The bike was sold a long time ago but I've been married to the girl for almost 21 years.

That rear wheel is probably worth more than the whole bike now.

What is that building (with the arched roof) in the upper right corner?

I bought a "streetfighered" VFR off a college squid since it has the 8 spoke on it. Complete running bike for $200. Wheel worth more than that alone, especially since he did 200mph on it all the time.

Eff bleeding that brake system. Worst part of ownership.

Nope. Actually, mint ‘86-‘87 and ‘90-‘93 are outpacing 4th, 5th, and 6th Gens, for value.

Looks like Safeco, but it's been over ten years since I was there so not sure.

That is home of the Milwaukee Brewers! Still called Miller Park!
That roof opens! In sections and the accordian into each other.
The name contract was bought out and will change in 2020.

Is this yellow VFR still in Milwaukee? The Brew City has been our home for over 10 years now!

Edit- wait, isn't that Miller Park roof, in Milwaukee?

That looks a LOT like Safeco field (or whatever it's called now). And it looks like the picture was taken from Yesler way, just above the International District. maybe Yesler and 6th? That picture isn't that recent.

When I fixed the bike the rear wheel was the single most expensive part I had to buy. It was a brand new wheel since we didn't have places like eBay to buy used parts from.

It's in Seattle. Whatever big building that the local sportsball team plays in.

And then brake hard to zero accountability?

  19. Wish I never sold mine. Used for my cross country trip. Never skipped a beat.
