One of the coolest customs that I've seen in a long time..... https://www.autoblog.com/2019/06/10/emory-motorsports-1960-porsche-356-rsr/
Of course it is. Its a road going based Porsche. All road car based porsches are ugly, cause theyre basically overpriced VW bugs. Prancing horse...FTW
Meh. Looks like a kit car, it’s so far removed from the original. That’s what makes the Singer stuff so pleasing to look at; it’s still identifiable. Purity goes a long way, IMO.
Def a love-it/hate-it, and the builder even states as such. He knew there would be some derision from purists. Singers are still the benchmark for resto-modded P-cars, but you don't see this type of treatment to 356's all that often. I just really like the small touches that are tributes to historic racers........especially the centerlock wheels and unpainted, amber fiberglass ala many Porsches in the late 60's, early 70's (especially the 917). Also appreciate that he didn't go TOO crazy with a ridiculous engine......however that thing surely MOVES with so little weight.

Was this at Garden State Plaza this past weekend? I swear my brother sent me the same pictures of some of those. He was in a silver twin turbo 996 Porsche
