Hot damn! The stock version is beautiful. The gold subframe and engine covers look so good. Looks great as a racebike as well.
there were a handful... i know i had to have a bunch done on mine a while back... there was some bolt thingy on the rear suspension or swingarm they did too but i don't see it on this list https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2018/DUCATI/PANIGALE%2520V4#recalls
The bike is listed as a 2019 model year but in the U.S.A. all of the VINs being issued are actually 2020 production. So, to answer your question: this is the 2019 model.
The upper picture looks like it is missing part of the lower fairing. Other than that it looks the business.
Love the way the new RR looks! If I didn't have my 2017 GSXR-1000, I would be all over this. BTW, took my V4R out to the track (Chuckwalla) for the first time and the turn in is crazy!
I would be real interested in which one you prefer on the track. (Unless it's no contest in favor of the Duc. I can't be hearing that gibberish!)
I pick my M package 2020 s1000rr up this Saturday!!! Mine will likely only see an occasional track day. So far, the reviews have been very positive. I guess I have to change my ancient username.
I raced GSXR-600s with WSMC here in SoCal, and have been a Suzuki guy most of my life. I prefer my GSXR-1000 because it is so familiar to me, has plenty of midrange and is very stable. With the V4R, once I get past a certain lean angle, it feels like it wants to fall in more. The sensation is unsettling because I am so used to the turn in on my Suzukis.
