I'm sure these will go cheap We had a tornado come through town last night. Toyota and Chevrolet dealerships took a direct hit.
Hurricanes may cause more damage but the violent explosiveness of a twister still scares the shit out of me.
Maybe a couple frames are good and one could pull that hideous new body off and replace it with the previous version, since they are 90% the same truck. Of course you'd still be stuck with the lame new engine.
pfft, probable sell for damn near full new retail. You should see what they are getting for some really f@cked up used ones around here. Those look better.
Yes. I was three miles away and didn't even hear anything. This place was a huge storage unit site and auto repair facility. Hundreds of storage units were destroyed and scores of RV's smashed to bits.
While the lower end power is down due to the transmission tuning, once in the higher RPM's my 18' TRD Tacoma will destroy a 4.0...and get significantly better mileage doing it
Please, do tell in extreme technical fashion how the transmission affects the torque curve of an engine.
I get your point but "torque management" in the ECU can really make a vehicle feel a lot less powerful than it could be with 100% of the power applied.
So is the 4.0 with a supercharger. And a whopping 2mpg better on mileage for that shit engine, woohoo!
