GP 25 mil carts vs Ktech 25mil IDS.

I have heard mixed things. Anyone ridden both? I don't have any complaints about my Ktech stuff...my tuner just likes GP better. Says there is some things that they have that the Ktech doesn't that makes them better. But I am riding the hell out of my front end right now and it is working great so I don't want to go back wards.

 

Thanks for the help you flighty animals I am going to try the GP and see what happens.

We are doing just the oposite this weekend going from GP to K tech. Got a good set of GP cartridges for sale...

 

I would buy them but mine are already bought.

 

What is the reason for the switch? Pressurized or not?

 

If your front end is working great then I don't see the reason to switch....

i had those carts in my CBR. the valving was great. they were a pain in the ass to extend.

We have had absolutely nothing bad to say about the GP stuff.
The K-tech stuff looks really really nice too. Will see how it works out This weekend.

Its only good because its all you know. Can always go back if it doesn't work.

 

I have the same thought process right now. I thinking its great but it could get better.

 

One of my best friends is a ktech dealer. I love it. The stuff us beautifully crafted. Better than the ohlins all day long.

Look at what guy's are paying for where the stakes are highest and the track conditions vary the greatest, IOM TT, Northwest, Ulster etc.

 

And have you seen some of those? They aren’t the off the shelf k tech for a lot of top riders. All kinds of crazy shit in there. And besides Hickman how many are fast on short circuits ? What was hutchy? 25th or so in bss today.
