I make and sell simulation equipment for virtual racing machines. That's a fancy way to say I take a hobby box, add a USB controller board and put buttons on it.
Yup. I’m a substitute guitar teacher for one of the local guitar programs. $25/hr isn’t bad to babysit kids for an hour or two.
They claim its a safety issue, and in some way I can see that. Marina just south of us in Chicago had a boat literally explode after the guy working on it filled the engine compartment with fumes and then tried to start it. I think they lost over ten boats after the ensuing fire. So, while I see that side of it, I still think some of it is just intended to drive all business to the $200 an hour on-site shop.
i have been doing it for 15 years 3 nites a week. Its been sketchy a few times, and sometimes ive had to call an ambulance for them. idiots,
