Dated an Argentinian girl for a few months, my second Latina. I joked that the crazy must reside in the hair pigment, because she was blonde and seemed pretty chill compared to the Mexican/Columbian before her.

One night I made a joke about my friend’s girl being too hot for him. Just typical male banter. She told me in my ear never to disrespect her like that again. I dismissed it and went on with my night.

After a quiet Uber ride back to my place and some half hearted apologies, we walked through the door, and before my keys hit the table, she clocked me in the head. I barely had time to process what happened before the second through 35th slap landed. Pretty sure she gassed out before she stopped hitting me.

Literally 20 seconds later she was trying to take my clothes off and laughing like a maniac about how I shouldn’t make her so mad.

Never talked to her again, although I had to change her contact info to “Not Worth It” to remind myself not to go back for one more round...

 

Single is an opportunity to live life on your terms and not apologize.
