USA today. Vaping safer than smoking.. but we already knew that. https://www.usatoday.com/story/opin...ing-healthier-than-tobacco-column/2990934002/
So the writer’s organization has received funding from JUUL Labs, an e-cig maker and Altria Group, Marlboro’s parent company. Hmmmmm.
*cough* https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/10/sixth-person-dies-from-vaping-linked-lung-disease.html Pretty soon they're going to have to name this thing. My vote is for pneumodouchethelioma........aka "Chad Lung."
Will USA print a retraction? From the reports I have heard, the problem seems to be centered around the oils containing THC and sold by vendors that are not too concerned with product quality.
All depends on who you talk to evidently. CDC is going with "we can't prove what it is yet so stop that stupid shit until we can" which makes sense to me.
Other's are saying it's one of the non-cannabis oils they're adding to the brew. When it cools down from vapor in the lungs it turns back into an oil, and coats the lungs. Causing all kinds of havoc.
Sucking on things that you don't know what's in them, where they've been, or what's been done with/to them can kill you. Who knew?
Yeah it's just the young folks. Stupid permeates our society and it has nothing to do with age. Can't believe people are willing to be the guinea pigs on this and pay for it all on top of that.
Most of the reports I have read were on younger adults. I admit I haven't followed this to the point where I can quote stats chapter and verse.
Funny yall talk about this..........A co-workers 20 year old son just came home sunday evening from a week in ICU with a severe lung infection from the "safe" vape shit. He's carrying an 02 bottle around with him now cuz its so cool and safe to vape.
