Also if you install the plastic washer in the correct place they stay on the bodywork. The plastic washer goes between the two parts and retains the male part of the Dzus. They even sell metal spring washers if you don’t trust the plastic. We used the flush flat head ones on sprint cars and if they can stay on a dirt sprint car they should not fall off a sport bike.

I second what HRC nick says. I raced sprint cars for 8 years and have had my share of flipping violently down the track. Only to be towed back to pits and I still needed a flat head to remove all the Dzeus buttons.. Point is they do not just fall out when fitted correctly. The vibrations that come from a 900HP dirt car surpass anything road racing can offer. They work!
