I am kinda laughing at myself right now. I was trying to do some stuff in the yard yesterday and all my equipment was running like shit. I make sure that I use ethanol free gas so I dont have fuel issues. Since it is hard to find fuel without corn juice in it around here I just use VP C-12 as that is what I have on hand for my old superbike. Almost everything had lead fouled plugs...

But on the bright side, it is kinda cool to smell the exhaust and imagine that you are at the track while doing yardwork...:D

Took me like 2 hours to get my snow thrower going. That was not a fun exercise in how carbs work

But, then you will change the octane.

adding the right amount of water causes the ethanol to separate out. but as someone else suggested, this lowers the octane. it still might be fine for yard equipment engines though.

As in carbohydrates? The amount of energy spent trying to get it started? Lol

Gonna get harder, and even more ethanol. The EPA has now approved and are starting to push e15.

E15 is awesome for turbo engines though...makes so much more power

E-15 sets the check engine light off in my pimp yellow neon.

Makes so much more O2 sensor errors.

well yeah...it probably wasn't meant to run on it, but if it is from the factory, and it has boost, then well....mo powa

It has loads of boost, with a tailwind, downhill, drafting a semi. :D

Ya know I have used regular gas in all my stuff... Mainly push mower but mix the oil for the blowers and trimmers... Never had a issue.... Everything starts first pull ect...

Brawndo's got what Yard maintenance equipment crave: It's got electrolytes!

    How old was the VP?

You have gotten lucky. The stuff I have seen in the industry is crazy.

The deposits I've seen on the bottom of some float bowls is hard to even sand out with scotch brite sometimes.
