Just like with Trump, I don't care about "Beto's" failings as a human. I have plenty of my own.

I will judge the man on policy and action. What I see so far is anti American, leftist, communist, steeped in white guilt, detritus. No different ANY other Democrat.

Also funny. How dredging up skeletons from 25+ years ago was OK when it was a candidate you don't like but now you are criticizing people who are doing the same to the candidate you like...

lol thanks for making my point. I'm not saying to not dig into his past, but I think it's funny that Trump supporters look at someone's character and decide that he wouldn't be a good President. Talk about the pot calling the kettle orange. What matters is his policy beliefs, right? That's what I'm hearing from Trump supporters. I don't give a shit that he's an asshole, he's kicking ass getting shit done.

Trump doesn't have a burglary and/or DUI charge.

    And he doesn't wear dresses.

Right he's only been sued out his ass and has many shady business dealings and sued how many times for sexual harassment. Also, he might like to pee on hookers lol

Again, I'm not in any way trying to defend Beto. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy. Glass house man...glass house

I like to pee on em too. What’s your point?

Fair trade between two consenting adults. Why do you hate capitalism?

If you want to make "being sued" a criteria then watch out. Many successful folks have been sued...deep pockets and all.

There could be a slight truth to my hypocrisy. I would not vote for Beto simply because he is an idiot and has stupid policy. Laughing at him is just icing on the cake.

Yeah, Trump is all that in a conman but he is also authentic. So authentic that you can trust what he says due to his passion for doing what he believes. His tweets provide more insight as it shows he is paying attention.

That's the rub for me. How can both of those be true? Or, how can you believe that he's authentic knowing that he's a conman?

It's all good. Again, I'm not a Beto guy and would not vote for him, but that's just based on what I can find about positions on issues. He is definitely more centrist the ultra-left loonies but not enough to get my vote. If he was in line with me on issues that I find important, then I would have to judge his character to see if he would get my vote.

I just combined your labels into one word and chose conman. Horndog businessman and/or JFK wannabe was just too much effort. None of it really matters and some of it is false. Tear down the wall, no more weapon sales, and Green New Deal is central??? What do you need to know about his character other than do you trust his word?

So Beto raised $6mil in the first 24 hours, out-raised The Bern's $5.6mil, and made Harris look really sad at $1.5mil. Seems Kirsten Gillibrand had to re-annouce her candidacy just to convince herself she was running.

Not down with it. I am for focusing on climate change but they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to optimistic.

Ok, then maybe stop calling that knucklehead a centrist cuz he's on board with that retarded deal. Half of the more stable Dems are also calling it not realistic nor sustainable.

It's a socialist program disguised in an Eco friendly title. It's just another LIE.

Are you taking him as a whole or focusing on the GND? What about his thoughts on health care? Immigration? all things.........I'm not saying he's a centrist. I'm saying I don't think he's loony left. Far too left for me. Trying to research more of his policy stuff and there's not a bunch there. Not too worried, again, he's too left for me.

I just hope the Republicans can find a contender for Trump.

I'm old enough to remember when some of us tried to tell people that global warming was junk science designed to transform the economy and usher in socialism. Well, here we are now and there is a group of communists (Justice Democrats) who just introduced the GND and they are not even hiding that they are full on communists. It appears that some of us were spot on.
