Stacked field. Should be a great race.

    I see a 99 and a 99x - why would they allow this?
I see how this can cause some confusion.
If someone sends in an entry with a number that clearly is taken - why not assign them a different number or ask them to pick another one?
Is there a reason I'm not seeing?

Not sure, but with transponders it's a non issue from a scoring standpoint. From a fans perspective, I'd assume if you are rooting for one of them, you know what the livery looks like. I don't see an issue with it.

And yet there will be more spectators on hot pit than in the stands, except for the 3 drunk harley guys screaming where's Evil

Say what you will but I’m as excited to see this race as I am any MotoAmerica round. If we could promote this race a little better locally and nationally I think it would be quite an attraction.
As far the stands, how many people attend bike week? How many actually know there’s a race going on right down the street?

Yeah I am sure the promoters never thought to promote the race. All of them and they could careless, if it does not involve drinking beer and watching coleslaw wrestling.
