Anyone have experience getting out of their timeshare? Who did you use and what steps? I see a few companies claiming they can get you out of the timeshare, but most of their reviews aren't supporting their claims. Many years ago my ex talked me into a Blue Green Resort timeshare and in the divorce I got stuck with it. Any words of advice?
lol that's even better than stealing your money/stuff. "he keeps the timeshare." haha sorry i have no advice, but thanks for the chuckle.
Yes, I was on the phone with a company for an hour this morning that wanted $5,000. Many companies online only scam and do nothing other than drain my wallet and give broken promises. I'm looking for someone with first hand experience with a company.
My Mother in law got scammed a couple of times by companies that claimed they would sell or rent. So she is still paying the maintenance fees and has never used it. I'm not sure what the ramifications of just not paying the fees would be.
Curious, does anyone know the fees associated with getting rid of a timeshare through a "reputable" company?
HMMM Well the time share is in the US, She lives in Canada is fully retired and really doesn't need a credit score.
