Hey guys looking for some info on Roebling road. I have never been there and going next month running the sportsman series. Just wondering about the paddock or any tips to look for on the track? Do they have plenty of power hookups for 110 or should I bring genny? Someone told me you had to pit in the grass? Do I need to bring plywood or something? Ill be staying in a tent, im assuming that's not a problem. And last I plan on running the practice day Friday. Can you show up Thursday night and camp then or what. Thanks in advance.

Always bring a generator if you have it. Tent camping is fine normally but double check for ants!! And bring stuff for them regardless, because yes it's camping in the grass. The roads through the paddock are paved though.
The track is fast, and turn 9 is bumpy.

Bring plywood or carpet... you can’t put your bike on the road... if you see a cat get ready for the urine...

Hows the current track staff? There use to be a nazi regime of being kicked off property for touching fences, and squishing love bugs,if memory serves me?
    Gate times in and out?

ok the love bugs is a lie,but I hate those nasty porno bugs humping all over my face shield, and body...buncha perverts :D

Paddock is good. Plenty of places to set up tent. Do you HAVE to have a mat or plywood...no. Many do not and your bike will be just off the pavement so not really a big deal...btdt. Plenty of power to be purchased at the gate but genny is always a great option IMO as it does not tie you to the power pole area's. You should be able to show up Thursday night and get set up, check with the track for gate times or email Sean at WERA. Bathrooms are good and there is also race fuel on site if needed. The food situation is ok, but a lot of folks bring in their own food and drinks. Bring bug spray and ant spray. Track is fast and flowing...fun to ride and turn 1 is not for the faint of heart.

bring stuff against ants, look for where the speakers are on the poles for announcing and don't set up camp next to a loud ass generator

I ran an entire race with a glove full of ants eating me alive. You definitely gotta be aware of where you put your gear between races.

IF you happen to make this an off road experience, don't use the front brake unless you want to do many front flips and have a yard sale... deep fine sand

I've got a quick question about this event.... I think I got it but want to make sure.

If I race just the sportsman class are finals on Saturday? When do you qualify, or is qualifying based on practice session times??? (I've never been to Roebling, or to a WERA event!!!)

Tons of good people at any and all wera events. You'll get a douche every rare now and then.

Last year was my first few times there. Easily one of my favorite tracks.

    Don't over think the track.

Do not try to do anything in turn 3 until some heat is in the track and several sessions have gone by. Lots of bikes got tossed last March in 3 and I heard AHRMA had quite a few go down last weekend.

Yep,I knew a guy that should have been the next ama prodigy crash here. He was a multiple championship first year novice wera/ccs.
His leg was damaged, several operations, and infections later,he lost his leg.The story is long, but turn 3 gave him a bad fate in life.He now has an artificial leg.
