It was "historical" though. Oldest wooden coaster in the South or something? A good buddy of mine used to work at Family Kingdom and, after hearing about the guy who maintained those rides, I never got on one again. (Let the record show the witness made the "drinky drinky" motion.)
I don't dig 'em all that much. I lack control on them and just giving up control and being a passenger does not appeal to. Same reason I won't do a two seat with CU. I trust him but I just can't give up control.
I hear you. I did a 2Up with CU at Fontucky several years ago....damn that was a ride. Passing fools on the brakes in the A group, 2Up was an.....experience.
Yep! Put a brake on a coaster I have control over, and I'll ride one all day! Okay, maybe not all day, but I'll ride one.
