241yrs worth of transportation evolution has brought them to our door quicker..than when they had to walk or ride a donkey.

I think he’ll have a pretty tough time in the courts regarding a national emergency. But we’ll see because that’s the only way he’s going to get his wall now.

241 years of Security innovation too, drones, heat signature, etc, no need for a wall.

Really? Drones? You do realize with our bullshit imigration laws, once they cross the border, border patrol catches them and is forced to release them INTO THE U.S.?
    Build the fucking wall.
What the fuck is a drone going to accomplish? Precisely nothing. I'll support drones that are armed with .50 caliber rifles that fire automatically on anything that moves and is warmer than 98.6 degrees. How's that sound?

This statement would hold water provided no one was crossing instead of the steady stream we have now.

As it stands this is verbiage out of a derriere.

Sometime dems are truly funny. Just heard one say that Trump is working on a new book:

    Art of the Kneel.

Drones with infrared technology like some cities are already starting to use could alert border personal when people are trying to cross and they go pick them up, not too hard. Clearly this technology would need to be funded but it would be every bit as affective as a wall if not more so.
Not to mention do you know how long the wall is going to be stuck up in the courts with property rights etc.? Drones and other modern technologies would be a far quicker way to secure our border.

With drones, they will enter before a response team can be assembled and launched. That is unless you want teams every dozen miles or so from sea to shining sea. Once they are in, they are arrested and released. The wall prevents this from happening. They must be stopped BEFORE entering, not an hour later.

If there's no wall, the US will flip over to the South. The math is quite clear.

Walls are unsightly and since drones fix the issue all private residences (hello Mr LaBomba) need to now use drones.
    Since physical deterrents don't work.

IMO his one executive order should have been air traffic controllers and other essential workers would be paid and those like congress, senate and all federal courts would NOT be paid until the shutdown was ended and no back pay would be issued.
And yes the IRS would be reopened since receiving and paying refunds are essential.

I thought he would be better at dealing with idiots like congress than this.
A tad disappointed but not completely surprised.

The motion was for the repubs totwaste time and fool you into thinking they have your interests, and then vote against them when it mattered. Normal stuff for the party of hypocrites.

Laughing, as of right now there’s not gonna be a wall boys.
There’s been all sorts of tests, and people are getting over the “wall” in a matter of minutes. And they would get over there’s been all sorts of tests, and people getting over the “wall“ in a matter of minutes. Just another giant waste of our tax dollars.

Personally, I think it’s a non-problem from the get go.

Could be said about most of congress outcomes, it has become party line priority with no regard for the American people.

would you like the phone number of a couple of border agents that will laugh at your supposition? A couple of guys that have been on the front lines before and after a "wall" was installed?

Also what hilarious... BP supervisors only "guess" at what comes across by saying "they turned back south". Mostly because if they turn in reports that 100s got past every night because the ratio of Agents to Illegals is like 1 agent for every 50.

You need an operator for the drone... well probably 3. Then of course what happens when the drone breaks? The depts have budgets not open pocketbooks. As it is they use spotters & trackers which take some time to train.

Why have any of that? They don’t stop illegals crossing the border?

So this is the same bullshit promise made under Bush. Also it neglects that once in sending them back takes a crazy level of time and effort. And of course the demoncats will let that be reformed right after hell freezes over.
