If you ordered every individual part to build that bike, what's the total, 300k?

    OUCH!

What's the OEM bodywork replacement costs on like a Panigale 1199 Super L?

    Phl218 .

    Prolly 2/3 of that

    Edit:
Considering the tail is one piece carbon fiber, it is probably about the same

We repaired a 1098 R (the 1198) a couple years ago and the prices were as high as these. The bodywork is some very nicely made CF. But dang, they are proud of it.

  8. Could buy a few nice sets for the tax bill alone.

 Ducati needs a rep at Comicon.

Some years ago (I’ve been told), it was possible to piece together an entire Polaris ATV or snowmobile for significantly less than it was to buy an assembled unit. I think that lasted until the 90’s before someone at corporate put an end to that.

    RRP Kinda Superbikey

Forgive my ignorance all things Pasta Monster, but which Desmo is this bodywork for? The Desmosdeci/GP replica?

That would be my guess (I have only heard of one production bike with Desmo in the name).

Heaven help us if it is the prices for the bodywork of the Ducati branded bikinis!! :D
