Yep, pretty much. The NWS defines a blizzard as large amounts of snow or blowing snow, winds in excess of 35 mph, and visibilities of less than 1/4 mile for at least 3 hours.
This is the top of my doghouse this morning in DFW. I might brave the roads to Kroger & stock up on beer, milk, and bread... if there's any left. Pray for us! WE WILL REBUILD!!!!!!!
We're supposed to get 18 inches tonight. It's supposed to be around 20 degrees so hopefully, it will be dry snow.
Pissing rain right now. I’m greatful to have pro bass fisherman friends because this free $450 rain jacket / pants or I’d be really wet out here on the lake fishing in the rain. Taking a few minute break to hook up some new electronics. Maybe find a spot under ghe bridge and anchor down cause I need a nap.
I've got 5 below with a wind out of the north, wind chill's 15 below. We aren't supposed to get much snow 6-8 ", too far north. Supposed to be brutally cold and windy the next 2-3 days.
Were you birthed the normal way or did a whale spit you out on the beach? "Watcha doing CB? I mean, besides fishing?" There's a guy in town who has a fishing show and I don't think he fishes as much as you do.
We got about 6" of some nice snow Friday night/Sat morning in SW Brew City area. We finally got to go downhill tubbing- me and my sons! Edit: OH yeah, and Thank God for powerful 2 stage snow blowers!! It was 4 F this morning- no wind chill BS
Still snowing here, don't have a clue how much we've got. Wind is ripping so we've got bare spots scoured to the ground and 3 ft. drifts. Still 5 below, the wind chill is brutal.
