I want Brees to beat Brady head-to-head. You just know when they both retire they'll be in the GOAT conversation. A head-to-head win in The Big One would give Brees another point. The downside is a Brady win would lock Brees out of the discussion. And the massholes would just get worse.
Aints playing the Superbowl in Atlanta. Suck it falcons fans! It is a little bit of a twist of the knife if it happens.
Brady is the GOAT. I’m not a New England fan boy, but you gotta call a spade a spade, he’s the best. What he’s done over his career and with the teams he’s done it with, in my opinion, solidify it. He has no deep threat this year but he crushed it today. Granted SD was out coached but still he did his job. GOAT in my mind and I love watching him go to work.
Unless they're handing out three or four Super Bowl trophies this year, I don't think it's up for discussion. I can't stand the Patriots but you need to be real.
Brady had the coach and the team behind him but yeap, Rossi of the Fooseball QBs. Now it'd be between Brees and manning for Second and I'd give that to Manning.
I said discussion. Brady might get more votes in the discussion, but Brees is IN the discussion. A head-to-head SB win would strengthen Brees' case. A head to head SB loss would totally destroy it. I still want to see it and I'd betcha Brees & Brady both do too. To be the man you gotta beat the man. A: Rossi isn't the GOAT, Marquez is/will be. All Rossi can do is kick at MM as he blasts past. B. By what possible metric is Manning > Brees? SuperBowl XLIV
Career regular season 1 Drew Brees* 2001–present 74,437 2 Peyton Manning 1998-2015 71,940 3 Brett Favre 1991-2010 71,838 4 Tom Brady* 2000–present 70,514 Career including playoffs 1 Tom Brady 81,083 2 Peyton Manning 79,279 3 Drew Brees 78,947 4 Brett Favre 77,693 Three weeks / 2 games is pretty near. He's gotta win them first, but, "nowhere near that" is not accurate. Couple that with Brees' win coming AGAINST Manning. . Career passing including playoffs, Manning has a 332 yard edge. That could fall in 6 days. I'm not seeing a huge edge for Manning. Brady, yeah, he's probably ahead of the rest of humanity at the moment. Brees still belongs in the discussion.
I don't think I was clear enough: the discussion doesn't exist. And I like Brees better. That's how much of a sure thing it is for Brady.
I'll quote BB: "Stats are for losers", while his boat is currently tagged "VII Rings" Let it go- there is no debate and I like Breese as much as anyone else.
