Which auto blipper were you using?

    IRC.
Just got off the phone with them and was asked where is the ground hooked up to and also if we are using a lithium battery.
We had the ground from the IRC directly to the battery and was told that they are 98% sure that the ground to the lithium battery is problem and that the instructions specify that the ground needs to go to the chassis.

Good to know. Makes sense. Glad you got it solved.

Yes, for sure Rick. I always thought that on the bike the best ground was the battery ground itself.

I'm just seeing this now. Use the ground for the TOS or a similar ground. They're "clean" grounds. The battery ground is "dirty". Didn't you get my email?

Not to beat a dead horse but tell your rider to get of the track if tha happens again. Cruising around on the race line trying to figure out why the bike isn’t going can result in someone getting seriously hurt or killed.

I was probably 20 feet from that accident and could have been avoided 100000%.

Glad both riders are ok and glad you got the problem figured out but please pass that info to your rider in case it ever happens again.

The violence of that crash and the broken arm hopefully have already gotten that message through. Hard way to learn.

Agreed. I would be happy if I never ever see something like that again...

That and Stevie Bonsey at Texas is one year was plenty!

Why don't you try calling Graves. Maybe they can help you out

We have told him and also others have. I was not there to see it live and can only say that I have gotten different stories from people that actually witness the crash and honestly dont know who to believe. Max told me he raised his hand and kept it up and was waiting to slow down to get out of the track and said he was trying to stay away from the race line.
Some that were there have told me that it was how he said and then others have said he put his arm down.
Anyways, he has been briefed all this to avoid something as bad as this was.

    Good news on this.
Spoke to Moto-D/IRC and they did us a solid and sent us a new Blipper and we returned the old unit to be sent to IRC and be tested.
We did use the new unit this past Sunday with no issues.
    Thumbs up for Moto-D/IRC:clap:
