Question for frequent travelers to Canada

The government shutdown is affecting lots of agencies, likely the passport office is affected and I wouldn't let my passport out of my sight during this time.

 

i normally drive in but i would think you should be just fine

 

I understand that if you have a DUI / OMVI, etc, you better plan ahead, to avoid possibly being denied entry. A friend experienced this when going on a fishing trip there.
