I dunno, some of those cube things with the wacky half wrap around rear window are contenders for the ugly award.

That's only because you could legitimately answer the question of what you drove with " I drive a vette….baby."

We called my best friend's the "shit-vette." Yes, it was brown. Yes, it had an 8 track.

The first three family cars I drove:
    1959 VW Beetle convertible
    1968 Chevelle 6cyl
    1972 Chevette

All had stick shift. The Chevelle was cool, especially when I could blow away a 396 block one because I knew how to launch with the manual. The other two were less impressive, but they got me where I needed to go.

I can top that...I actually owned an AMC Hornet. When it ran, it wasn't bad...when it ran.

I bet that 59 was badass. My first car was a 69. Two tone velour seats, shag carpet, 8 track, 60s all the way around, and a stinger pipe. Oh, and no heat lol.

We use to jump terraces in the church graveyard in it,and 4 wheel the powelines in it as well.
It hydroplaned one day and was tragically killed in a road accident,no one was hurt, but it was a sad day.

The italians have their day in court too. In a trip in Austria long ago, the rental company rented us two of these for the week.

It was functional as hell inside but we kept a low profile while driving. Like "below the window line" low profile...
