I am intersted in trying out Supermoto here in SoCal. I have recently purchased a 2010 Honda Crf250R. I am looking to convert to Supermoto spec. So, I am looking to purchase a used (not thrashed) Supermoto wheels and I reckon the front brake system needs upgrading also. While I am at it, leathers also as mine are destroyed and are 30 years old. 5'9" and 160 lbs in street clothing. And if you have any Supermoto advice, throw it out there! AND THANKS IN ADVANCE! For trying things out, just get a 320mm rotor and caliper relocation bracket. That paired with good pads will give you a ton of stopping power, and short of full on big track roadracing will be up to the task. There are cheap kits on eBay, they sometimes require some 'tweaking' from slightly misdrilled holes. The EBC kits cost more but are plug and play.
There is a set advertised for a CRF450 on ADV right now. In the parts section, first couple of pages.
