I have a can at home and at my parent's house, it's good stuff. And if it doesn't work, it's prob a mechanical issue so a troubleshooter too.
Can you believe a motorcycle road race on the streets of Alma, Qc (a shitty improvised and dangerous street track which is freaking far away from pretty much everything, including myself, and I'm in Montreal) in the seventies brought in 50 000 spectators for the Sunday finals ? What the Hell happened ?
Steamboat had vintage until at least the mid 90s. Cool ad! It's hard to believe they had a street course in Baltimore for Indy cars and alms. I don't know how many people paid for tickets but there were a lot of people there. The city says they dropped the event to focus on the running festival and marathon. BS
Got an old layout? Was it in town or on the highways? I’m heading to Steamboat for Musicfest next month, would be cool to check it out.
Yes it is. There's a whole article in the latest issue of the VRRA's Baffled Muffler (see pages 8-10) : https://www.dropbox.com/s/f1skl34t6xdqsuz/VBM-Vol4-2018.pdf?dl=0
Really don't but I'll try to find it. It was in town for sure. Haybales, Bob's barricades and Jersey barrier parking lots with cones. Blasting through the town streets over hill and dale for what I believe was a mile and a half layout at the time. Epitome of safe . It's had to have changed from the first couple years. At least I hope so. Maybe we got a member from Colorado who will chime in. Enjoy the place and the festival.
