Probably going to be over $100. I'd estimate around $125 or slightly more. Its race only no title

Upon further reflection, I think I should pass. The last thing I need right now is another 7/11 project...

Just adding something ...I have a fuel tank for an 86 gsxr 750. Had it since 88, just sitting in my garage. The gentleman I bought the bike from had replaced the tank because the bars slammed both sides..not sure if it's worth much money, it can certainly be repaired though and it would suck if you needed one but couldn't find one. If someone has interest let me know I'll send some pics .

SpeedyE Experimental prototype, never meant for production

Crashman, I have a friend who just put a Bandit 1200 motor in a 88 Slingshot frame. i Dont know if that would be doable in an 86, but i thought maybe a bandit engine is cheaper/easier to find than an old 1100 motor.

If I remember correctly, the Bandit 12 is essentially a 2nd gen GSXR1100 motor with a bit more displacement and different cams so yes, it would fit. I already have a spare motor though. :D
