Melandri stays in wsbk on a Yamaha. According to the article "he had the option to move to moto America with team Attack, but he turned down that offer" https://www.gpone.com/en/2018/11/05/sbk/marco-melandri-heres-the-yamaha-youre-not-expecting.html
Jake Gagne has lost his Honda WSBK ride. Does he end up back in MA? It would be great to see him stay in world SBK but there aren’t any good bikes left.
Didn't Rog go to Europe and ride one on Pirellis and it was literally the WORST bike he'd ever ridden. I'm not sure he ever even scored a point.
Hacking started giving Mladin and Spies some competition the last year of the Kawi SBK effort. I was a test rider for them during that time and the team made that bike into a seriously good race bike. The first day I rode it I thought "there's no way you can race this thing!" and the last test I did on it I thought "this is the best bike I've ever ridden!" The Kawi USA team figured out that chassis and turned that bike around. The bike Rog raced in WSBK was totally different than the US spec SBK, plus that team had very little support from Kawi Japan.
Rog was riding a shit bike and had a hard time. Hacker did a wildcard ride on the Paul Bird ZX-10 at the 2009 Miller WSBK and kicked some ass
I’ve got that race on my laptop. Hacking ran well inside the top 10 most of the race (was as high as 6th at one point I believe).
Is that serious or a joke? 23 - Parkes 2 - Hacking 41 - Haga 3 - Biaggi 65 - Rea ....and that's Haslam then Smrz behind Rea; the Ben had already taken off at the front. Yeah I seem to recall him charging very aggressively up to like 2nd at one point then fell back to 7th in race 1, and he had an off in race 2 and finished 19th
