That will be a good team. RighterBurger has been on BMWs forever, and will have lots of confidence coming off the WSTK championship. Sykes has proven he is still very fast. ...and that BMW should be a weapon.
If I was looking for a new track bike this thing would be #1 on my list right now. The new dash looks freaking awesome. One thing though.... I thought electronic controlled cam timing was not allowed in world superbike.
Anybody knows the MSRP? Not that I can afford it... Also am I the only one that thinks the new bike looks like the Triumph 675?
They must have found a way to make it legal or it is legal to start with. You're right, the front cowl design combined with the subframe tubing definitely gives a 675 vibe.
Has anyone seen the bike IRL, how narrow is it? That's what I love about the Ducati (and 675), how small and narrow they are. The new R1 and GSXR have also been made smaller/narrower, even while having I4 motors. Has BMW done the same?
To me, the front fairing and headlights have a Desmosedici feel. This could be the bike that takes me out of 2008.
They won’t use shift cam tech in WSBK machines. They’ll just remove it in the same way the manufacturers do with slide control/ lean angle ABS and things like that which aren’t permitted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Does anyone remember when Gorilla posted here? I don't know which one of you sock cuckers ran george off,but an apology and puppy is due!
