Ok so Bill Brown is putting on a vintage track day associated with this vintage car deal at Cota Nov 1 through 4th.
Need more vintage bikes to attend.
Looks like 2 sessions Friday through Sunday and a chance to check out old Formula 1 cars to Trans Am cars from back in day.
Looks like V7HW and older bikes are what he is looking for.
So im here trying to get as many people on short notice to come hang out and bring bikes.
Thursday will be there setting up things.
Go to this website to register and then hit me up so i can either give you Bills number or let him know you are coming.
We need to register so we get a big enough area set out for us to setup.
Im on the hunt to get some AMA pros from days to come out.
If you have seen the Yamaha setup at Wera Cycle Jam then you know who Bill is and who he is bringing.
But ive been invited so trying to get the word out for to as many vintage guys to attend and ride Cota at a cheap price.
Spread the word asap and let make this happen so more events can be in future.
Just a fun laid back time for all.

You need SVRA in the title.... Its a great Event.. We did it at Indy the last 2 years at the Brickyard and it was fantastic.. I would be there however cant afford the trip out there as well as the time off.

I saw is info somewhere on the CMRA forum, but the website was different. Wasn't it bikes up to 2000 model, and riders around 50yo and older? Are they dividing the 2 sessions into (1) lw and (1)hw, or are both sessions open to all bikes?

The website just got around to putting the info on it.
    Not sure what they put.
I talk to Bill and he wants older riders cause this is a laid back vintage deal.
No one is out there racing each other for lap times.
Just a fun easy going time.
I was told no young riders.
Aka only older guys who want to have fun.
As far as bikes he wants vintage bikes.
My 97 F3 and that style bike is what he is looking for so i guess 2000 would be so called cut off.
And i think he will just toss us out there.
Was told 2 sessions each day.
I can get you Bills contact number.
You have to remember that this is being done with the vintage Cars deal.
They are the main draw and we are filler for them.
But at the price we are paying its a deal if you want go to Cota and ride track.
And we will have anything from TZ750 to my F3 on track to 86 GSXR 750.
This is about a track day to see old bikes and old Super bike riders having fun at Cota.
I got conformation that Jamie James and Kevin Schwantz is coming.
So im sure it may get interesting.
Still working on getting word out to get as many riders cause that dictates the space they will give us for the pit area.
We need to sign up so that they know how much area we need.
    Thanks

    Steven

What i gather is even if you dont put bike on track bring any older bike so we can all check it out.
We will find a place for it.
Bill is wanting to get people together that want to just enjoy the bikes and cars and have fun.
If you have a bike you want to get on track then go register so they know to give Bill enough space for everyone who shows up.
Im hitting all Texas guys to come out.
Ottis Lance said he is coming too.
So now we have 3 really fast guys from old days going to come out.
    So spread the word

Ok guys so if you are planning to attend please go sign up.
Seems space is given for the bikes according to who signs up so we are trying to make sure we get enough for everybody. So far we have a decent amount showing up so spreading the word helps get more riders and more pit space for everyone.
    Thanks

    Steven
