A great teacher. Unfortunately a specific student at Montgomery is a rat crybaby mama's boy. That's Montgomery for you, a bunch of sissies.

Maybe this has been covered here, maybe not, but what does the law generally say about teens sending nudes to each other? (Assuming the same age - under 18)

 

Child porn. I've seen cases in the past where kids got in serious hot water for sexting.

 

It's from a teacher, a person of "power" over them. And, it could be considered solicitation of a minor.

 

Except it's a crime for ANYONE to do it. The "position of authority" law is when a teacher has sex with a student that is of legal age. In lots of states it's 16. However, if any grown man/woman sends nude pics to someone under age, it's a felony. Remember our friend Anthony Wiener?

 

Lots of great reviews, starting only a day or two ago.

However, there is a posting from March 30th, 2018, that precedes the news article and more than hints as to what is going on...

 

So you DO understand it's illegal. Were you being rhetorical when you asked "I don't get how sending nudes to a teen is illegal." ?

 

Oh I totally get it's illegal. That wasn't a question. I don't understand why simply sending nudes to a teen is illegal. I'm not trying to say it's "ok", already said it was morally lacking. Every boy I knew by the time I was 12 was regularly looking at porn, so having a grown woman send nudes to a 15yo boy is the furthest thing from harmful. Of course I'm sure that leaves the door open for the "sex" discussion as well, but I'm lost on why the line was drawn at even sending legal pictures to a "minor".

Yeah, that's why I thought that, I know a good several handfuls of teachers in this state.
