Sounds more and more like this is a persecution and this just is having no part of it. Manifort is kind of scummy but one thing I was not aware of was that this charge was presented years ago and the feds determined insufficient evidence to pursue. This is not looking good for team Clinton so far (well other than the diversion is working and she has not been charged)

Doesn't look like this judge is falling into line like the Merrill Lynch/Enron judge did.

Yep sad that the Enron deal happened but the persecution that followed and was later overturned was worse. Basically destroyed Arthur Anderson Co on charges that were later over turned I think almost 100%. Seems like Mueller is best at ruining lives through abuse of power.

There are lots of people out there who think that if Manifort goes down, Trump is finished.

Well...I'm sure lots of people out there thought Trump would never win the republican nomination, or win the presidency, or survive the first week, or month, or 6 months, or a year, would be impeached, would be found to have colluded with Russia... Meanwhile, in the real world, the USA is getting back on it's feet, and doing just fine despite all the loony left trying to burn it to the ground.

I've been avoiding Facebook just so I don't have to read the anti-Trump stupid shit posted by people who I've known and liked for years and who I know to be intelligent people. It's like they've all lost their minds.
I can understand being upset following the election, but that was a long time ago and they're still apoplectic over it every damn day.

Meh. Won't have any effect. Haters will hate him, lovers will love him, the rest of us will enjoy the exploding heads on both sides :D

Reading a book by one of the attorneys that handled the appeal of one of the Merrill Lynch guys. Turns out I used to ride with her to school back in 1970.

And NOTHING to do with Russian Collusion or Trump...oh wait he paid hookers and porn star cash to shut up. And tried to get that money back by invoicing the Trump Campaign Commitee for that money.... Oh The Horror.

They spent $10m getting a guy for what cost the US Treasury $1.4m in lost revenue... interesting, Example set I suppose.

The payoffs were Cohen and he invoiced Trumps businesses thus guilty to fraud. Oh and he has in the past explicitly said Trump did not know. So he pleads on something... when was he lying?

Odd. I don’t see a single one of the guilty charges having anything to do with Trump or campaign finance laws.

We have reached Police State Status.......usually, there is a crime and we investigate to see who was the perpetrator. With the Police State, they investigate the person looking for a crime. This is what the liberals have brought down, as the ends justify the means for them. Get rid of Trump in any which way.
