Located in Chattanooga, TN. 37421 2007 SXV 450 is a NO VIN parts bike that Aprilia gave away free when you purchased one of the remaining SXV's. Aprilia did not want to warranty the left over bikes. It was bought with 0 hours on it in 2014 and sent to AF1 Racing where they re-sealed the engine and de-restricted it, but left mostly stock. It has not been ridden in 2 years or so. The tires should be changed since these were installed in June of 2014. Bike is complete and runs very well. It just does not have a VIN. Great for a supermoto or lightweight track bike.You could try to register it as a custom built bike, depending on your state. I have a 2007 SXV550. Pure insanity, I love it. Having it “restored” very soon. How many miles on this bike? Can AF1 confirm working on this bike? I’m extremely familiar with the 550 issues of this year/model. What issues does the 450 have? Do you know future parts availability on it? I’m interested.
I am not sure how many miles since the front rotor bolts on the wheels do not line up with the speedo sensor, but my estimate is between 300 and 500 miles. I had AF1 send me the receipts for the work they did to reseal the engine. The 450 has fewer issues since it is not as high strung. The majority of the issues are on 550's. Parts have been pretty available from AF1 and other US suppliers have good availability.
Understood on the no title - any headlight or rear brakelight? If not, do you know if the wire harness is there to add/wire them in?
