I've always admired IWC pieces from afar, as I didn't think they were available for decent money.
Turns out that I was wrong so I picked this up...

    Pilot chrono blue face?

They call this the Pilot Chrono Le Petit Prince as it's made as a tribute to the story about the Little Prince.
I wasn't sure if I was so into the 43mm size after selling my Panerai but it wears much smaller than the PAM

That's the pilot I want. I would swap out the brown band but I love that watch. I flip flop between it and the black face "normal" chrono.

    Those and the big pilot.

I was surprised at the price point. New is less than 5K and this one was slightly used.

The movement is your run of the mill Valjoux 7750 but I'm ok with that.

    Big Pilot = Big Want...!

I have a portofino chrono. A bit dressy for me most of the time but it's killer watch.

My wife steals it now and again and she rocks it. :)

I like that classic style of the Portofino.
I tend to buy more tooly watches though.

My girlfriend got a kick out of the fact that she wore my Daytona before I did :D

I like the blue also, just don't know if I would grow tired of it. Perhaps just don't use it as the daily driver?

the Portofino is more my style, personally. But... that Petit Prince blue is so gorgeous.

I couldn't figure out why it looks so different to my reg pilot Chrono but the edge detail on the hands makes it lighter, combined with blue obviously. Another difference is the new models like yours have white date windows and black writing, mine is black window and white writing. Makes more of a difference than I thought.

"Sir, I don't think you can afford anything in the store. You look. . . and smell. . . like a homeless person and. . . is that a Rolex?"
    "Sub, yeap."
"We just got in the new GMT and a SS Daytona and. . ."

Any of you guys dealt with watch service and repair? Have a Seiko automatic that isn't working. Most have indicated it's probably cheaper to buy a new watch with the movement in it and swap it in but it sounds like maybe a simple service will fix it. Unfortunately my jeweler I used to go to is in another state as I haven't gone anywhere since moving. I would've sent it to him to get sent out. Now I'm at a loss. It's nothing fancy but it's a solid daily that I haven't worn in 3 years now.
