Bike in Question is a 2017 R3 that does double duty Endurance and Superstock sprints. Per Superstock rules the gas cap can be changed so long as it does not increase the orifice size of the tank. Which orifice is this referring to? The main hole that cap seals on (approximately 1.5 inches) or the tiny one (approximately 3/4”)that prevents a standard gas station nozzle from being inserted in too far? I can get a picture if this doesn’t make sense.
I'm curious as well- at the extreme end of this, is an endurance bike with a big tank and dry break (that's otherwise SS legal) ok to run in SS? And I can imagine how slow it is to fuel an R3 for endurance... I've heard some of the little bikes can go the 2 hours on one tank- how far do you get on the R3? I never got a chance to do one of the endurance events before I sold mine.
