Start on the left foot at the big toe and work my way outward to the pinky toe.

THEN...right foot starting at the pinky and work my way inward to the big toe.

Pinky to big toe left, then pinky to big toe right. Your way doesn't make sense.

I start with whatever nail the blade on my pocketknife can easily reach first.

 

On the baby, any toe I can secure long enough to cut and not draw blood. German Shepherd, same except There Will Be Blood.

 

Top to bottom, left side first, big to small.

 

Same. I cut those damn things as close as I can stand to let them grow very much. Same for finger nails.

 

Only downside is having to wait a few days to get a good nasal dig.
