Free Speech is the Enemy

I actually think a big part of it has alot to do with the expansion of colleges and all of the various "degrees" that they now offer. Any course that is about how you feel about something will tend to be more about regurgitating the crap the professor spews and lining up your answers with the professors opinions. Math, physics, engineering, chemistry, etc. are more about getting the correct answers than your feelings and opinions but they are becoming a smaller percentage of the student body due to the growth and generation of other majors.
