lol nothing unsafe about stock brakes. But just call it honestly. I want good brakes because they are Just better than stock.
Maybe it is more competitive in some regions. I have podium on CCS Midwest with stock suspension on my ZX10.
Hahaha might be the reason. Amateur 1000s are a smal field too, middleweight has a lot more fast guys.
Not to stray from the original topic, but most SV brake issues can be attributed to the calipers. The bushings in the sliders wear out allowing the calipers to flex.
Guys on 600s regularly win unlimited amateur races at BHF. It's not the m/c or the suspension making the difference there..
