Ok, this is driving me nuts: What’s the name of that car racing documentary I saw years ago (I think they played it on IFC maybe?) about the guy who held a race every year in his back yard? You couldn’t spend more than like $300 or $500 on the car, the race went through the guy’s barn, and he won it every year. I think it was in Pennsylvania or Virginia or maybe even farther north like Vermont. I swear it was called something like “Dynamite 400”, but for the life of me I can’t find it anywhere. Please help. I’ve search every single word I can think of that might describe it and I’m coming up blank.
No, that’s not the one. But the 24 Hours of LeMons is really cool and something I’d love to do someday.
Ok, just watched this and realized it’s actually LeMelons. That’s really cool too. Still not the one I was talking about, though.
The sweathog grand prix a couple weeks ago was the most awesome car race ive ever seen, it was only 1.5 hrs so i think it was ruffer than lemons. Like 50 cars started and 10 finished lol.
Not what he's looking for, but didn't Kenny Roberts use to have some sort of New Year's shindig involving cheap cars at his ranch?
I have a feeling..If there was money in it,we would be racing through barns!! Maybe not HW supertwins, but we would race through barns, and the occassional chicken house Harescrambles, you race through barns, tunnels under roads, chicken houses,I even watched hunters gut a deer off the side of a track during a race one time. Whats wrong with you Mongo? Its like you don't even want racing to make it!!
I FOUND IT! https://vimeo.com/ondemand/4cylinder400 Unfortunately, I can’t find anyplace to watch the whole thing for free.
Hmmm.... Yes, I do have Amazon Prime but I just searched every word and came up with nothing. Why do you think I should be able to find it?
