I believe it when I see it.

I'm still waiting for my phone battery to last as long as advertised.

They just released that electric truck. Range is 500 miles. Because they claim that average range of 80% of the trucking business is 250 miles. Which is straight bull shit.

Elon is a ideas man. Just because the idea is executed, doesn't mean its ever going to catch on.

Have we even figured out yet if electric cars are really cleaner in the first place?

Wasn't there a study where a Hummer had less environmental impact over the lifetime of the vehicle than a Prius?

Or are we just blindly following the hype now?

I'm very skeptical of what marketing hype vs. reality of the electric vehicle future is.

Many forget, that energy to power your battery has to come from somewhere. You know, thermodynamics and shit. Just because gases aren’t emitted from your own tailpipe doesn’t mean a unicorn somewhere else is shitting electrons into the power grid.

Remember the guy with the shitty suit in a wagon back in the day who sold something in a bottle that cured everything.

Musk is that modern day guy without a horse drawn wagon

well the thought of a big 18 wheeler going from 0-60 in 20 seconds is pretty interesting...lol
How well will that work on steep grade hills? :D

Not so sure those hucksters could design a rocket that could go into space and then land upright on a rocking barge.

You guys can hate on him all you want, but scamming the public for monetary gain is probably not what Elon Musk lays awake at night thinking about.
