Watching the kid across the way warming up his CBR600 something or other got me thinking what is and should be the most hated in the paddock. So, which is the worst? 1) The 2 stroke guy who is warming up and doing heat cycles on his bike at 6:30 ~ 7 AM because he KNOWS everyone loves the sound of his stinkwheel.. 2) The vintage guy with the straight exhaust warming up his bike at 11 pm because he finally got the heap of garage clutter together 5 minutes ago.
Easily the stink wheels. I love the bikes but those dudes start them every 7 minutes to make sure they are warmed up before they have to warm the up to be sure that they are warmed up for the warm up cycle that comes before the 7 pre race warm up cycles. Oh and 3 warm up cycles before bed.
I'm gonna come back to the track next year. Not to race. Just to camp out. I'm gonna bring the biggest loudest ass generator ever built and the only thing I am going to run with it is a coffee maker and lamp for light at night.
Definitely number 4... If you have a loud pitbike you get to walk to the bathroom at 3 in the morning... I can't even count how many times I've been woken up in the middle of the night by some dick with a straight piped pit bike...
I hate the squids who purposely bounce their engines off of the rev limiter because they thinks it's cool.
Are you talking about racers or spectators? I have never in my personal experience seen an actual WERA racer do that at the track in the paddock.
